BEIRA x Gabriella Garcia

BEIRA x Gabriella Garcia

Gabriella Garcia's photographic process at the Beira atelier

Gabriella Garcia is self-taught, and her practice spans sculpture, painting, and installation. Her work encompasses not only the place where it is but also where it originates, with cut-out figures occupying space from various materials that communicate through representation and often farce. Her compositions bring magnetism in a continuous effort of fusion through matter and history. Through diverse media and dimensions, Gabriella explores the confrontation between gesture and nature, image and its infinite truths.

The images below are part of the photos the artist took with her analog camera, depicting the dynamics of our atelier. In the following images, you can see patterns on the cutting table, hangers with pieces from future collections, garments being assembled on sewing machines, finishing touches, and the exquisite execution of our seamstresses.
